You’ll be nurtured with exquisite, nourishing food made by Helen at www.dragonflyhousespain.com , have time to rest deeply and soak up the serene views from the circular yoga deck or the shimmering pool. Led by Jane Zimmerman @yamalaexperience, artist, art therapist mind body therapist, yoga facilitator, masseuse and retreat facilitator with over 20 years’ experience — this 5 day journey is a deep, light-hearted, and profoundly transformative. Imagine yourself waking up to this…
Over five days, we’ll journey through the archetypes of four Hindu goddesses — playful doorways into the many shades of our own divine nature. Through yoga, expressive movement, art, reflection, ritual and laughter, we’ll rediscover what it means to feel deliciously at home in our bodies and deeply connected to the feminine power that is innate in all of us. All materials are provided — just bring yourself exactly as you are and a willingness to dive in at your own rythm.
The venue: Dragonfly House
Nestled near Antequera, in the heart of Andalucía, Dragonfly House is a beautiful, high-comfort retreat centre with a grounded, earthy spirit. One hour from Málaga airport (72km), it is easy to get to and blissfully peaceful. Breathe in mountain air, float in the pool, and practice on the stunning circular yoga deck surrounded by nature’s calm. Take a dip in the open air swimming pool, soak in the awe-inspiring view and enjoy the pleasures of this magnificent natural oasis of calm.
Sleep
There are nine beautiful bedrooms and each one has a very individual feel and décor. All are designed to help you rest and digest, with beautiful views and comfortable beds. Split between a two-bedroom guest house, and a seven-bedroom farmhouse, all have access to equipped kitchens, comfortable lounges and of course the pool, terraces, gardens and olive groves.
All rooms can accommodate two people sharing as a double room or as a twin room. Your own private sanctuary awaits.
Food fit for the goddesses
The food is vegetarian, plentiful, varied and delicious. Through the lovingly prepared plant-based food, you will be nourished like a goddess, and enjoy unforgettable dishes that are a feast to the eyes, leaving you full of energy. Ingredients come from the Dragonfly House vegetable gardens, as well as local farms so they are fresh and bursting with flavour.
Serve yourself spring water or herb tea anytime you fancy. We are happy to cater for any food allergies or dietary needs, do let us know in advance.

Your guide and fellow goddess
I’m Jane, and I’m delighted to accompany you on this amazing journey. After a rather stormy youth, I have spent many years working on myself to be able to celebrate life and my own place in it. I weave together yoga, expressive movement, body work, massage, chinese medicine and art therapy and love both going deep and having fun. I have had the pleasure of working with women in Spain, Chile, Scotland and Morocco. Something truly magical happens when we get together to honour our creativity and our unique way of being ourselves.
I love creating space to converse with our hidden, less attractive parts and our shrill voices as well as our more dulcet tones.
If you are ready to look at yourself lovingly, share your wisdom and your fears, and let your eyes shine as the divine creator of your life, then this retreat is for you.

Your sweat lodge Temazcal goddess
Nuria will never forget her first women’s circle as it made her aware of her own sacred feminine energy. She began studying to prepare herself to be able to accompany women in their life’s processes and rites of passage, studying nursing, as well as becoming a menstrual therapist. She was blessed to come across shamanism in South America along with ceremony, ritual and ancestral healing techniques. She is passionate about sharing, containing and accompanying people along their life’s path.
Katy Bird
(DJ Ilai Bird) Your divine DJ
Originally from the southwest of England, Katy has lived and DJed in Colombia and Chile and is now living in Granada, Spain. She is a true music-lover, a people person and her enthusiasm bubbles over in her joy-filled Ecstatic Dance sets. She is a young woman with an old soul and uses any music that moves her emotionally to encourage you to move your both your light and darker sides.

Cancellation policy
Many people are involved in making our retreat an unforgettable, inspiring, relaxing and safe experience. If you cancel before 1st February, we will refund 50% of your payment.
If you cancel after the 1st February we will not refund your payment.
If, for reasons beyond our control, we have to cancel the retreat, we will of course refund 100% of your payment.
